“why is it important to learn an instrument?”

Learning an instrument or learning to sing offers so many valuable skills! It allows us to use our brains in a different, more creative way that can playfully challenge you while finding new ways to express yourself. Through consistent practice, we develop discipline and patience, learning how our efforts lead to progress. We also discover the importance of balance—how a strong technical foundation gives us more freedom for creativity and collaboration. These are amazing life skills that will help you with everything!

"What do you love about teaching music?":

What I love about teaching music is seeing how people learn, adapt, and express themselves. Every student has their own approach, taste, and way of picking things up. It’s interesting to figure out what clicks for them and watch their progress. Plus, it’s a great way to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds, connect over shared interests, and build relationships through something almost everyone enjoys—music.
