Q. What do you love about teaching music? 

“I love when I am teaching the students and seeing them have an "Aha moment" when they suddenly discover or realize something they did not know or learned before.”

I am in 3rd year of Music Education Classical Piano Major at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Music. I have been playing piano for 17 years and studied piano in Japan, China and Canada. I have experienced many different cultural backgrounds and styles of music education since I was young. I am currently studying Kodaly, Orff, Suzuki and many different teaching methods for younger students. Every person has their own learning abilities and approaches, and I enjoy the teaching method-finding process for every student.
